Dr Michael Gray

With more than 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Michael Gray earned his dental degree from one of the most prestigious universities in Venezuela. Trained in both oral surgery and restorative dentistry, Dr Gray has built a career on a strong foundation of clinical excellence and true passion for dentistry and helping others.
After furthering studies in the United states at the Prestigious Eastman Institute for Oral health at the University of Rochester, Dr. Gray earned his dental license and has continued to advance professionally and academically. Currently Dr. Gray serves as an Assistant Professor in the General Dentistry and Urgent Care Department at Eastman Institute for Oral health, where teaching, mentoring and patient care come together in daily practice.
Dr Gray is member of the American Dental Association, the NewYork dental Association and the Seventh District dental Society.

Dr Alex Ghanem
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Oral surgery has been Dr. Alex Ghanem passion for the last 25 years. He believes in providing gentle, quick and painless surgical care to patients of all ages. He employs excellent surgical skills towards a wide range of oral and maxillofacial procedures, from single complex wisdom tooth extractions to full mouth smile reconstructions on dental implants (“hybrids”). He holds a sedation license as well as both Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificates.
Dr. Ghanem came to Rochester in 2010, where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, University of Rochester and his Residency at Strong Memorial Hospital. Before that, Dr. Ghanem received his dental degree from the Central University of Venezuela, where he also served for 10 years as an Assistant Professor and Chairman in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr Ghanem enjoys keeping abreast of innovative surgical techniques and materials through continuing education. He lectures to various dental organizations nationally and internationally and he is member of the American Dental Association, New York Dental Association, Seventh District Society, and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr Ghanem as well is the president elect of the seventh district dental society association.
David K. Skeels DDS
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. David K. Skeels is originally from Palmyra, NY and graduated from Palmyra-Macedon Central School in 1978. He received a B.A. in psychology from the University of Buffalo in 1982 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in 1986.
Upon graduation, Dr. Skeels held a one year general dental residency at The Eastman Dental Center. He has over 1,000 credit hours of continuing education courses, including alumni of the Pankey Institute. As a family dentist, Dr. Skeels is a member of the following:
- International Congress of Oral Implantologists
- The American College of Oral Implantology
- American Dental Association (ADA)
- Seventh District Dental Society
Dr. Skeels also devotes 1-2 weekends every month and travels with a mobile dental company to provide quality dental care to our military personnel.
In his free time, Dr. Skeels coached hockey, baseball, and football for his two son’s teams. He also enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family in Rochester, NY.
